Justin Timberlake Looking Forward To Ben Affleck As Batman

The Internet has been negatively a-buzz lately following the announcement that Ben Affleck would be cast as the next Batman. This is one of those topics that gets fan-boys and movie buffs in quite a tizzy but it's especially funny that it's happening to Ben right now, being that he's already explained what the internet is used for.

When Justin Timberlake stopped by the Fresh 102.7 studios to chat with the Jim & Kim morning show this week (August 27), he tried to put some of those fears of #Batfleck to rest.

"Ben Affleck as Batman, I like it", says Justin. "I worked with Ben last summer and I've seen his process. I think he's a brilliant filmmaker. I think he's an extreme talent so he could surprise a lot of people".

But what if Ben called him to play Robin… would he be game?

"Not a chance in hell", says Justin. "I ain't playin' Robin. I have no aspiration to ever be a superhero in a movie. Now VILLAIN! I'll tell you the villain I want to play more than anything because I grew up loving Batman, funny enough, is the Riddler. The Riddler is my favorite villain".

"The Riddler was like a sociopath", Timberlake continued. "He was proper crazy. So if I'm gonna play crazy, I'm wanna play proper crazy".

"I'm ready. The Riddler. Gimme a call".

Justin Timberlake Weighs In On Miley Cyrus' Twerk Ethic: "It's the VMAs, Let Her Do Her Thing"

Disney princess turned twerkaholic Miley Cyrus turned heads as well as stomachs in Brooklyn this past weekend during her performance at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. She started it all off by walking out of a giant teddy bear while awkwardly doing that tongue thing she does now. That was followed by Miley gyrating and crotch-grabbing her way through her latest hit "We Can't Stop". It was all topped off with a super-dirty duet with Robin Thicke on his hit "Blurred Lines".

Fellow musicians and celebrities have been wondering what the heck Miley was thinking since the performance, some even taking to Twitter to question the starlet themselves.

"My favorite part of the Miley Cyrus performance is the Smith family reaction", Justin told Jim Douglas during his visit to Fresh 102.7 in NYC this week (August 27). "I was late to the game on that. I was just shown that this morning, so it was fresh in my mind".

In case you missed it (because you did), Will, Jada, Willow and Jayden Smith were allegedly cut to in their seats during Miley's show and gave one of the best gas-face reactions we've ever seen. The Smiths were actually reacting to Lady Gaga, but that news hadn't made it to Justin yet.

"Listen, man, you know, it's the VMAs. What did you guys expect?", Justin continued. "I like Miley. I like her a lot. I think, you know, she's young. She's letting everyone know that she's growing up. I just think it's the VMAs. It's not like she did it at the GRAMMYs. Let her do her thing. You know?"

"Madonna: Wedding suit, humping the stage. Britney: Strip tease", Justin reminds us of VMAs past. "This is not an uncommon thing. I actually thought all the bears were really cool!"

Speaking of Madonna, the first word that comes to mind for Justin is "perfectionist;" the two pop pioneers have worked together in the past (remember 2008′s "4 Minutes" with Timbaland?).

"We've gotten to know each other over the years and I hold my relationship with her in high regard. Obviously she's been in the business longer than I have which is a long time in itself. She's one of those people that once you know her one on one, she's truly unique and (a) sweetheart".

Are you excited for the next offering from JT? He's already got tracks ready for the 20/20 Experience Part II along with his production pal Timbaland.
