  It’s official: «Mr. Nasty» Simon Cowell is his final days as judge on American Idol. Ever since the British music mogul announced plans to ditch the ratings juggernaut to create an Americanized-version of his UK hit The X Factor, Idol fans have been discussing Cowell’s possible replacement.

  Add two more names to the mix: We hear former boy bander Justin Timberlake and salsa star/J. Lo manbag Marc Anthony are among the top contenders to join the judging panel of A.I. once Simon steps down this spring.

  Nooo!!! Jurado de American Idol??? Ojala no acepte, me parece una perdida de tiempo; la verdad nunca he visto American Idol, solo Latin American Idol :D …y, es lindo ver surgir nuevos talentos y toda la cosa, pero no me imagino a Justin ahí sentado sólo haciendo buenas criticas…..su lugar esta en el escenario, es EL MEJOR!!! Ya vuelve JT…te extrañamos!!!!

  Lindsay Lohan, Madonna and Justin Timberlake are on a list of top celebs drawn up by bosses of American Idol, anxious to pep up the show once Simon Cowell leaves.

  An source at Fox says: «American Idol was our top show and a lot of that had to do with the love-hate relationship between Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell. Then Paula left and now Simon’s going, too.

  «We want a regular explosive dynamic between the judges. Lindsay has music experience and an unpredictability.» You can say that.

  Justin Timberlake. «He is probably the biggest star of his generation and has a great handle on music. He started as a kid, obviously (on The All New Mickey Mouse Club), and is a warm person. So I would welcome him from that point of view, as a judge.»
