16-year-old singer Josh Barry says he’d love to have a career like that of Justin Timberlake and to make his first million by the age of 20. The performer, who will compete in tonight’s first semi-final, says that his friends have been keeping him level headed as he aims for a place in Saturday’s final.
Speaking to The Sun’s TV Biz, Josh said: «I’d love to have a career like Justin’s. He’s got albums, his own label and he’s getting into acting, another thing I love.
«He’s also good at dancing. He’s an inspiration.»
He added: «I’d love to make my first million before I’m 20, that would be cool. But right now it would kind of detract from being a normal kid if I made all my money. My friends keep me level-headed.»
Josh turns 17 on the day after the final, so what are his plans if he wins? «It’s my birthday on June 6th. I’d buy a car and have a massive party.
«My brother is trying to persuade me to get an Audi A3. I’d really like a convertible – that would be so cool and girls would love it.»
