After being spotted and signed by Timberlake, she found herself immediately thrown into the mix on his European tour, performing «the first three songs that I’d ever written.» But by the end of that process things had evolved drastically. «I think I had a hundred songs written. And then Justin sort of came in and listened to all the songs and he picked out his favorites and started reproducing the songs, and started giving me tips on what he liked. Then we went into the studio together.»
