Blog de una diseñadora de vestuario que estuvo trabajando el mes de diciembre con Justin durante la grabación del anuncio para Pepsi.
I spent most of December working on the Pepsi commercial with Justin Timberlake, which aired yesterday during the Superbowl. Amazing how much time it takes to make a 60 second commercial, especially one with so many stunts. I barely had time to wrap my head around the job, much less the charm of Justin.
It’s hard to get crushed out or worked up over someone who is closer to my son’s age than my own, but Justin managed to steal my heart. The friends sitting around with him at the beginning of the commercial are his real friends, and he happens to be a real musician, on top of being a pop star, but that wasn’t enough to get me.
One day, for some reason, Justin was acting out a scene from Analyze That, the scene where the guy kisses all his unknown relatives. I happened to be standing nearest so I was his prop, meaning he gave me all the kisses and hugs in the scene. It dawned on me that, as the blood rushed to my face that I felt like a teenager, Justin Timberlake kisses made me feel like a young girl and for that I will always love him.
I’m not alone in my crush, Andy Samberg flew from New York at the last minute to be in the spot with Justin, I think he fell for JT when they did Dick in a box together on Saturday Night live. Andy is hilarious and during his fitting I thought about how much I love my job. Who wouldn’t be happy to do a little fashion show with a cute, funny guy and be paid for it. Life is good no matter who wins.
