Justin Timberlake and Amy Winehouse may make a duet for her upcoming studio album. Justin reportedly has offered to fly to St. Lucia to meet her and then hits studio to record a collaborative track with her.
«Amy gets thousands of offers a week from other artists,» a source tells The Mirror. «Justin Timberlake is one she is considering. But Amy will only do it if the other person’s music fits the mood she is in at the time.»
Beside offering a helping hand to Amy, Justin has also produced songs for Esme Denters, a new and upcoming singer signed by his label Tennman Records. On top of that, he has visited Chalice Recording Studios during Leona Lewis’ recording session and helmed her track «Don’t Let Me Down».
As for Amy Winehouse, she indeed has received several duet offers from other big artists, two of whom were Snoop Dogg and Eminem, but she turned them down. Amy’s rejection over Eminem’s offer was even said as the cause of the Slim Shady mocking her in his new song «We Made You».
Most recently, Amy, who is expected to debut new songs on May 31, was rumored to pen a song about her estranged husband Blake Fielder-Civil. She sat down behind songwriting desk after hearing report that Blake will be a father to another woman’s baby.
