A pesar de que ambos son conocidos en Estados Unidos por ser una de las parejas que más celosamente ha resguardado su intimidad en el mundo del espectáculo, a la hora de hacer pública su boda no decidieron seguir este camino, para poder mostrarse así de felices en la portada de la revista, que desvela que la novia ha decidido cambiarse de apellido y adoptar el de su marido. «Sí, lo haré. Mi nombre profesional seguirá igual, pero en la vida, creo que mi nuevo nombre suena fenomenal».

En la entrevista que acompaña las fotos, ambos cuentan encantados detalles de la velada. «Fue una noche muy especial», comenta el cantante. «Una experiencia de fantasía total», añade la actriz, que vistió un traje rosa de alta costura de Giambattista Valli.

Según revelan en el reportaje, el cantante le dedicó a su ya esposa una canción especial mientras ella caminaba por el pasillo hacia el altar. «Se trata de una pieza original que escribí específicamente para ese momento y para ella», relata el también actor en la publicación estadounidense, que habla acerca de los 100 invitados de la celebración, que habría costado cinco millones de euros. «Era mucho pedir que vinieran tan lejos a celebrarlo, así que lo menos que se merecían era una buena fiesta», reconoce.

«It was magical», Timberlake, 31, tells PEOPLE exclusively. «It was an unforgettable evening».

Surrounded by close friends and family, the pair became husband and wife after days of pre-wedding celebrations leading up to the event.

«It was a fantasy», Biel, 30, tells PEOPLE of the nuptials, which will be featured exclusively in this week’s PEOPLE magazine, debuting online Wednesday.

Italy — a special location for the couple partly because of their love for its food and wine — served as the perfect backdrop for the festivities, which began earlier in the week.

On Thursday, the bride and groom hosted a party for guests who hung out around open fires and dined on fresh-made cheese, local olives and wine. The night before, the group celebrated at a beach where they watched fireworks and listened to live music.

«It’s great to be married, the ceremony was beautiful and it was so special to be surrounded by our family and friends», the couple told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement Friday.

While Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel were the ones tying the knot at a posh resort overlooking the Adriatic Sea in the Southern Italian town of Fasano, behind the scenes, Biel’s new mother-in-law reportedly was the one truly running the show.

A source close to the actress said Monday, «As far as Jessica was concerned, she would have been just as happy to have a very small wedding with only a handful of friends and close family members present». But Timberlake’s mom, Lynn Harless, wanted a nice, splashy bash for her beloved boy.

Biel — who had split with Timberlake before they reunited and got engaged earlier this year — apparently has come to understand «that Lynn is a very powerful factor in Justin’s life and, if she wants to have a smooth marriage, she has to have Lynn in her corner. … A big part of that is letting Lynn have her way».

Harless is not only co-manager of Timberlake’s career, she also runs his finances, his media company and his charitable foundation.

That said, Biel did manage to keep the guest list to about 80 — including Andy Samberg, rapper Timbaland and funnyman Jimmy Fallon. The actress also decided to go her own way regarding her wedding gown — picking a pink dress reportedly created by Italian designer Giambattista Valli, who also made Biel’s bridesmaids’ gowns as well.

Timberlake himself was said to be outfitted in a wedding suit made just for him by designer and filmmaker Tom Ford.

It was the best day of his life, but Justin Timberlake wasn’t feeling one hundred percent when he became a married man October 19.

«Justin wasn’t feeling well all week and on his wedding day», a source tells Us Weekly of the 31-year-old’s nuptials with Jessica Biel at Borgo Egnazia hotel in southern Italy.

The insider adds that the couple’s intimate group of pals spent a good amount of time at the hotel bar. «They had a big night at the bar where everyone went crazy — but Justin wasn’t feeling great», the insider tells Us.

Even if the under-the-weather «SexyBack» singer didn’t party as hard as he might have, «Justin was in a good mood», the source says. «He had fun».

«The biggest surprise to everyone was that it was such a small group and not star-studded», notes the source of the destination wedding, where the few celebs in attendance included mega-producer Timbaland, Timberlake’s «D**k in a Box» costar Andy Samberg, Biel’s 7th Heaven pal Beverley Mitchell and music manager Johnny Wright. Pre-wedding festivities also included a beachfront bash (with fireworks!) at Cala Masciola and cultural activities, too.

«Justin stayed with his family most of the time», The source says. «They had a schedule of everything for guests to do throughout the weekend».

For her walk down the aisle, Biel, 30, wore a pink-and-white gown — reportedly designed by Giambattista Valli with a «princess-like silhouette» — which she changed out of for the reception.

Despite not feeling so hot, Timberlake pushed through to serenade his bride at the reception. «Justin performed one song at the wedding», a source reveals. «It’s a new one that he hasn’t released yet. He dedicated it to Jessica».

Five days after they tied the knot in a romantic ceremony at the Borgo Egnazia resort in the southern Italian city of Fasano, details and pictures are finally emerging about the magical affair—from the gorgeous pink wedding gown the 30-year-old actress wore to the song the 31-year-old singer-actor serenaded her with as she walked down the aisle.

Timberbiel’s nuptials are featured in the latest issue of the U.K’.s Hello! magazine, which features a photo of an ecstatic Timberlake jumping for joy next to his blushing bride.

In the issue, Biel tells of having «butterflies» as her father, Jon, started to walk her down the aisle.

«I was about to stand up in front of my friends and family and bare my soul for the person I love. It was terribly emotional», she told the magazine.

But the erstwhile 7th Heaven star instantly felt at ease the moment she laid eyes on her soon-to-be hubby, who was waiting for her in the resort’s piazza.

«I felt calm», she added. «I thought, ‘I got this. We got this'».

Biel looked absolutely stunning in a custom, light pink Giambattista Valli strapless dress and carried a bouquet of chamomile, ranunculus and ruscus, while Timberlake sported a tuxedo designed by Tom Ford.

But things quicky turned emotional again when Justin surprised her with an original song he wrote and performed just for the occasion as his longtime love came down the aisle.

«That definitely started the tears», said Biel. «Not just for me, either. For pretty much everyone who was there!»

Added Timberlake: «I figured if there was something I was going to be able to offer, it would be to sing her down the aisle. Grown men were weeping. Hopefully it’s because I didn’t sound bad».

During a candlelit nondenominational ceremony that was officiated by the couple’s close friend, director Bill Purple, the twosome traded handwritten vows expressing their love and devotion and sealed the deal with gold bands with a hammered finish, courtesy of designer Leor Yerushalmi of the Jewelers of Las Vegas.

They also shared plenty of laughs with those family and close friends in attendance, which included such celebrity guests as Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Biel’s 7th Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell (though reportedly not invited were Justin’s ‘N Sync bandmates. Lance Bass’ rep, for his part, told E! News that the singer has been busy with his radio hosting duties).

Said Timberlake: «To hear all of our family and friends cheering at extremely loud, inappropriate decibel levels, that became the pinnacle of the ceremony. It felt perfect. It felt like everything came together».

According to the duo, planning for the top-secret destination wedding began shortly after the former ‘N Sync-er popped the question last December during a winter ski vacation in Big Sky, Mont. They settled on the Puglia region of Italy and the Borgo Egnazia, which has sweeping views of the Adriatic Sea, not only for its beauty but because they love to eat, said Jessica.

Shortly after becoming Mr. and Mrs., the couple and their guests moved the celebration to an al fresco bar for cocktails and hors d’oeuvres such as lobster in turnip tops and mini caprese salads. After that, dinner got underway with a four-course meal featuring steak and sea bass and concluded with the classic Italian dessert affogato (a scoop of ice cream topped with a shot of espresso).

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s Wedding Did Not Cost $6.5 Million

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s big day was no doubt an extravagant affair.

First off, it was a destination wedding, taking place at the Borgo Egnazia resort in Fasano, Italy, which alone can cost a pretty penny.

Throw in all the preceremony festivities, along with the fact that the bride wore a dress designed by Giambattista Valli and the groom sported a Tom Ford tux (just to name a few of the expenses), and the price tag quickly rises for sure.

But is it possible that the whole shindig actually set the newlyweds back as much as $6.5 million, as has been widely speculated?

Quite simply, no.

A source tells E! News that the price of the wedding was actually nowhere near that amount.

As for other little tidbits of info about the nuptials, our source says that, contrary to reports, Timberlake was not sick while exchanging vows with his now-wife.

Also, none of the guests in attendance, who included Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg and Biel’s 7th Heaven costar Beverley Mitchell, had to sign nondisclosure agreements, but rather confidentiality agreements.

The guests also received bags in their rooms that contained local olive oil, bread and wine, says our source.

And while Timberlake did sing a song to Biel penned just for the occasion, the source added that it is not known yet if the tune actually had a name or if it will eventually be released for all of us to hear.

All About Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel’s Wedding Rings

When Justin Timberlake proposed to Jessica Biel atop a mountain in Big Sky, Mont., last December, it was a day he’d been planning for quite some time.

The singer-actor worked with Leor Yerushalmi of The Jewelers of Las Vegas to create the perfect, most «personal» engagement ring he could, he tells PEOPLE.

The end result? A stunning 18-karat white gold and black rhodium plated creation. The center stone, a square hearts and arrows diamond, is surrounded by round diamonds and features one aquamarine on each side. They’re a thoughtful addition: aquamarine is Biel’s birthstone.

When it came to designing wedding bands (above) for their Oct. 19 Italian nuptials, the couple turned Yerushalmi yet again and collaborated with the jeweler on complementary designs.

Timberlake’s band is a simple yellow-gold domed band with a hammer finish. Biel opted for something slightly different, choosing to have four stackable wedding bands, though she only wore one when exchanging vows on her big day.

Two of the bands (all are the same in diameter) are white gold with a black rhodium finish and have diamonds set all the way around. The remaining two are yellow gold with a hammer finish, almost identical to Timberlake’s.

In addition to wearing jewelry of her own, Biel donned yellow pear-shape diamond drop earrings, set in 18-karat rose gold and micro-set with 96 fancy pink diamonds, from jeweler Martin Katz.
