Justin Timberlake cantará en el 5º aniversario de Fashion Rocks

Justin Timberlake será uno de los artistas que cantará en el evento anual «Fashion Rocks» que tendrá lugar en el Radio City Music Hall de Nueva York el próximo 5 de septiembre. El quinto aniversario de esta celebración que reúne a la música y la moda será emitido por la cadena de televisión CBS en un especial de dos horas de duración el día 9. Rihanna, Duffy y Justin Timberlake juntos en concierto

Importantes nombres de la música han sido convocados para llevar a cabo, el próximo 5 de septiembre en Nueva York, la nueva edición del Fashion Rocks.

Entre los nombres más destacados Justin Timberalake, Beyoncé, Rihanna o Mariag Carey estarán actuando en el concierto, en el que también tomara parte Duffy, que desde la salida, el pasado marzo, de su primer disco en Estads Unidos está dando mucho que hablar en el país.

Black Eyed Peas, Fergie, que anda inmersa en su carrera en solitario y Chris Brown son algunos de los nombres que completan el cartel. El evento, que tendrá lugar en el Radio City Music Hall, destinará todos los fondos recaudados a ‘Stand Up the Cancer’, una fundación que lucha contra la enfermedad.

Conde Nast Media Group Celebrates the Fifth Anniversary of Fashion Rocks at Radio City Music Hall

NEW YORK, July 22 – Fashion Rocks first took New York Fashion Week by storm in 2004 and it still remains the hottest ticket of the season. Conde Nast Media Group celebrates the fifth anniversary of Fashion Rocks with an unprecedented line-up of performers including: Beyonce, Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Duffy, Justin Timberlake, Keith Urban, Kid Rock, Mariah Carey and Rihanna among others.

The legendary Radio City Music Hall will once again play host to the star-studded live event on September 5, 2008, celebrating the powerful relationship between fashion and music. The concert will air the following Tuesday night, September 9, 2008 in a two-hour special on the CBS television network (9:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT). Proceeds from the event will benefit Stand Up To Cancer.

New to the mix is producer/director Don Mischer. Mischer, who was at the helm of Movies Rock(TM), has won 13 Primetime Emmy Awards and a record nine Directors Guild of America Awards. Don Mischer Productions’ credits range from The Kennedy Center Honors, Baryshnikov by Tharp and the 100th Anniversary of Carnegie Hall to Super Bowl halftime shows, the Emmy Awards, and the opening ceremonies of the Salt Lake Olympic Winter Games.

The Fashion Rocks magazine will also return this year bigger and better then ever. Slated to reach over 60 million readers and filled with even more editorial content, Fashion Rocks magazine will accompany the September issue of 16 Conde Nast titles. Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour and Contributing Editor Jonathan Van Meter will again take the helm as editor-in-chief and editorial director, respectively.
