Digital Dish Diva: NSYNC, one of history’s most popular band’s are recent American Music Award and People’s Choice Award winners and their CD, «No Strings Attached» is skyrocketing beyond Platinum and heading towards Diamond.

Digital Dish Diva: Please help me welcome Justin Timberlake to MSN Live! We are here, by the way, with NSYNC as they are rehearsing for Super Bowl halftime. Justin, welcome! It’s great to see you tonight!

Justin Timberlake: Whazzabee! (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: Justin, we’ve got over twenty thousand questions for you already so let’s see what the fans want to ask you. Justinsgirl: Justin, I know you guys are playing at Super Bowl halftime. Is this the biggest crowd you have ever played for? Are you afraid of screwing up at all?

Justin Timberlake: Well I would have to say it is the biggest crowd because of the TV aspect. They say they get around 70-80 million viewers. I’m watching the guys go through the choreography right now and I’m not worried.

Digital Dish Diva: Justin, we’ll be watching!

Digital Dish Diva: kaylee: Justin, you are my favorite! I would like to know what your favorite thing to do is when you’re not working. .

Justin Timberlake: These days, writing music, playing basketball, spending time with my family.

Digital Dish Diva: Justin, I’m hearing music in the background. You guys sound good already!

Justin Timberlake: Yep, that’s the guys rehearsing.

Digital Dish Diva: Do you know the songs you’ll be playing at halftime?

Justin Timberlake: «Bye Bye Bye», «It’s Gonna Be Me», and then there’s going to be a surprise.

Justin Timberlake: I don’t know if I was supposed to tell you that. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: You gotta play «Bye Bye Bye»! (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: KepOnDrmin Asks: Justin, how do you like the Internet? Do you find it easy to use? What types of sites are your favorites?

Justin Timberlake: I do find the Internet easy to use. It’s fun and I wish I had more time to sit down and do it. I have such a short attention span. I don’t always get on. When I do get on, I go to entertainment and basketball sites.

Digital Dish Diva: nala358 Asks: I would like to know if Justin ever gets tired of performing?

Justin Timberlake: No. Of course not, you guys make it different every time. All the fans.

Digital Dish Diva: What do you see when you look out at thousands of fans during a concert?

Justin Timberlake: A bunch of screaming faces. Sometimes it’s so loud, you can’t even hear it, if that makes sense. It becomes a vibration in your head.

Digital Dish Diva: It becomes a roar?

Justin Timberlake: Yeah. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: angel: Justin, I know you play basketball. Are you best at passing, defense or free throws?

Justin Timberlake: I don’t know. (laughs) I’m a pretty good defensive player. I’ve always been good at free throws and I’m best at passing because I always played point guard.

Digital Dish Diva: nikkinina00 Asks: What do you miss the most when you are on the road?

Justin Timberlake: My family. Being with my mother, my dad, my brothers. I hardly ever get to see them anymore.

Justin Timberlake: Sometimes it makes me sad because every time I go home and my brothers are a foot taller than the last time I saw them and I want to be there for the years that they grow and find out about life.

Digital Dish Diva: Peppamint Twist: Justin, I know your birthday is coming up. Is 20 going to be emotional for you because you’re ending your teenage years?

Justin Timberlake: No. Not emotional. I don’t really look at my birthday as a big deal anymore because for the last 3 years we’ve been out of the country for my birthday. I remember 2 years ago we were on a plane for my birthday. I just look at birthdays as one more year of experience.

Digital Dish Diva: The gifts are still kinda nice though!

Justin Timberlake: Oh yeah! I didn’t say I didn’t like the gifts. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: What has been your favorite birthday gift?

Justin Timberlake: I don’t know. But for Christmas this year, I got an aquarium for my house this year.

Digital Dish Diva: Saltwater fish?

Justin Timberlake: They’re really colorful fish. They’re still installing it.

Justin Timberlake: My best birthday gift is coming up, so I’ll let you know.

Digital Dish Diva: LovelyGhettoChic Asks: What’s your favorite part about touring and why?

Justin Timberlake: Every night being on stage, every night is different. This year sharing it with my friends. We’re getting to see the world in a great way and we’re very blessed that everything has gone as well as it has. We enjoy riding on nice buses and meeting nice people.

Digital Dish Diva: Do you ever forget where you are?

Justin Timberlake: Oh yeah! We always have it posted back stage. I’m the most forgetful person. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: illbegood4u Asks: Tell us everything you can about the next album: Songs, who wrote them, and is it true that the new album will be out in May of this year? Luv ya babe!

Justin Timberlake: We’re aiming for a summer release, I’m not sure of the date yet. We’ll have a single out before that. I think we’re just taking this dirty pop vibe to the next level. We went to a new level with «No Strings Attached» and now we’ll be striving for a new level. I think the new track will be more eclectic.

Justin Timberlake: With the new record you’ll be able to hear about seven or eight songs on the radio. With this new one we’ll be changing the sound, that’s what you have to keep doing.

Digital Dish Diva: SinkChick81 Asks: What would you be doing if you hadn’t have joined NSYNC?

Justin Timberlake: I know music would always been in my life. I may have tried to get a scholarship to play basketball. That was the other thing I used to do as a kid when I wasn’t singing.

Digital Dish Diva: ilovejustin: Hi Justin! I know you are asked a zillion questions. What’s the one question you wish someone would ask?

Justin Timberlake: Never really thought about that…

Justin Timberlake: I have no idea.

Justin Timberlake: That’s a good question.

Digital Dish Diva: You’ve probably been asked everything at this point, hunh?

Justin Timberlake: I don’t mind any question. Each question deserves an answer. I can’t think of any question that I haven’t been asked that I want to be asked.

Digital Dish Diva: fancyface: What’s the sweetest thing a fan has ever done for you?

Justin Timberlake: The fans do things for us all the time that are so sweet. I had a girl once give us a constellation named after us. I like photo albums. I’m a gushy, sappy person.

Digital Dish Diva: QTgirl211 Asks: Hey Justin! I know one of your favorite words is «CRUNK». I was just wondering how did you ever come up with that awesome word?

Justin Timberlake: I actually didn’t come up with it, I think it started in the dirty south (Atlanta). Listening to hip-hop, I thought it was cool.

Digital Dish Diva: LilJamz Asks: If there is anything you could go back and change on your path to who you’ve become both individually & musically, what would it be?

Justin Timberlake: I would have changed the decision that was made in the beginning. It sucked that we had to go through so many bad experiences in the beginning, but we learned from them, so actually I wouldn’t change a thing.

Digital Dish Diva: bball_luver2001 Asks: If you could switch lives with anyone, besides me and Stevie Wonder, who would it be?

Justin Timberlake: Jordan. (Michael)

Digital Dish Diva: xoxo: Do you ever feel lonely on tour?

Justin Timberlake: Yeah, all the time. Just like I said, missing my family and the people that are really special to me, especially my brothers.

Digital Dish Diva: Do your brothers sing too?

Justin Timberlake: Yeah, Stephen, he’s two years old. He can already beat box. And Jonathan can sing.

Digital Dish Diva: ThalitaBr Asks: What kind of music do you like to listen to?

Justin Timberlake: Everything. If you ask me what I play in my car, it’s hip-hop, but at home I’ll listen to Sade and Dido. I have a very eclectic collection of music. I listen to Eminem a lot. Kid Rock, everything. I like to listen to a lot of different styles of music.

Digital Dish Diva: oreoO0 Asks: Hi! Justin! I love NSYNC’s new commercial for the Super Bowl. How was it shooting that commercial?

Justin Timberlake: It was easy! We just spent half a day shooting it and I thought it was pretty funny.

Digital Dish Diva: Congratulations on winning the American Music Award and the People’s Choice Awards!

Justin Timberlake: Thank you very much! It was very cool. It is great to be nominated for stuff, but to win, we didn’t expect it. Our heads were spinning, we didn’t even have anything prepared to say. We were just so honored.

Digital Dish Diva: You were nominated for Grammy Awards. Will you performing?

Justin Timberlake: Yes, we are.

Justin Timberlake: I don’t know if I was supposed to tell you that either. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: Secrets are being revealed tonight! (laughs)

Justin Timberlake: (laughs) Yeah, all of them. Well, not all of them. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: believer: Are you going to ever do a duet with Britney?

Justin Timberlake: If you all really want us to do one, maybe. If people really want it and ask for it but I don’t know, no one has said anything to me about it.

Digital Dish Diva: Tear125 Asks: Do you ever feel that the pressure of being someone famous gets to be too much?

Justin Timberlake: No. I just do what I do. I know a lot of kids look up to us and for the most part we don’t do anything. In all actuality, I can’t feel bad about the things I do. I have to be me. I don’t really feel pressure. I think kids put more pressure on themselves than on role models. They should look to their parents and bond with them.

Digital Dish Diva: BugaBoo0815 Asks: Is it hard dancing when you sing?

Justin Timberlake: It was different to learn because you breathe a different way. You have to learn to move around and pop while you’re carrying a note. It’s just about body control.

Digital Dish Diva: JT: Do you sing in the car?

Justin Timberlake: Yes! And you know what, my vocal coach told me not to when I was young because you turn up your car radio louder and can hurt your voice. I should have listened. My voice is getting raspier.

Digital Dish Diva: Do you sing along with your music when you’re in the car?

Justin Timberlake: No, these days I’m switching the channel, I’ve heard it so much. (laughs)

Digital Dish Diva: fumantwinies Asks: If your house was on fire, what one thing would you run in and get?

Justin Timberlake: I have no idea! I don’t have a possession or object that I would have to go into a fire to get, but maybe just a change of clothes to make it through the next day.

Digital Dish Diva: NSYNCRules: Justin, I would like to know, what is the best of advice you’ve ever gotten?

Justin Timberlake: Whatever you do, make sure it’s something that makes you happy. My mom always told me that and «Be you, live up to yourself». If you put pressure on yourself, don’t let up. She taught me by example. She didn’t have to say much.

Digital Dish Diva: illbegood4u Asks: Are you going to do anymore extracurricular activities like «Model Behavior» you did last year?

Justin Timberlake: Yes. Possibly. I’ve read some scripts for different movies and I don’t think you’ll see me pushing the lead or anything that takes too long. As far as musical, I just did a duet with Brian McKnight.

Digital Dish Diva: What’s going on with the «Grease» script?

Justin Timberlake: I can comment that I don’t really know anything about it. We are so into the album right now, we had a meeting and picked and chose some things today for the new album. It’s going to be a really good album.

Digital Dish Diva: Until, your next CD releases, where can we see you?

Justin Timberlake: The Super Bowl, Grammy Awards, and then I don’t know. We’re doing a special. We’re inducting Michael Jackson into the hall of fame in June. Other than that, we’re going to lay low.

Digital Dish Diva: Justin, if you had to choose one moment where you knew you chose the right career, what would that be?

Justin Timberlake: Our signing with Jive as a group.

Digital Dish Diva: ILOVECHAT: Justin, what do you wish fans knew about you?

Justin Timberlake: That I am a pretty quiet person, that I kind of keep to myself a lot. It seems like over the years, when I’m not on stage I’m kind of shy. Sometimes I feel more comfortable on stage. If you see me and I don’t say much, don’t think I’m not taking in what you have to say. I’m just not a big talker.
